Privacy Policy

App: Weed Moderator· Developer: DabbleLabs UK· Last updated: 30 June 2026

1. Overview

Weed Moderator is designed to keep your usage data on your own device. The records you log in the app are stored in a local database and are not transmitted to DabbleLabs UK or to any other server, except as described in sections 4, 5, and 7 below.

2. Data collected

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

This data is stored only on your device and is not accessible to DabbleLabs UK or any third party except as described in sections 4, 5, and 7 below.

3. Device backups

The app permits Android's standard backup mechanism (allowBackup). If you have Google Drive backup enabled on your device, your Weed Moderator data and settings may be included in that backup and stored in your personal Google Drive account. This backup is controlled by you and your Google account settings, not by DabbleLabs UK. If you do not want this data included in device backups, you can disable backup for this app in your Android settings.

4. Manual backup and restore

The Settings screen offers Save Backup and Restore Backup actions. When you save a backup, the app writes a file containing your joint records and settings to a location you choose (for example, a local folder or a cloud drive picked through Android's file picker). Where that file ends up is determined by you. DabbleLabs UK never receives a copy.

5. Optional feedback email

The About screen provides an optional "Send Feedback" feature. If you choose to use it, the app will prepare an email to [email protected] and ask whether you want to include your app data as an attachment to help diagnose any issues. The attachment, and the email itself, are only sent if you actively choose to send the email from your own mail app. Feedback emails are used solely to respond to and investigate the issue you report, and are not shared further.

6. Permissions

The app requests the following device permission:

7. Third-party services

Weed Moderator can send anonymous crash reports if the app stops unexpectedly, to help us find and fix bugs. This is on by default; you can turn it off at any time under crash reporting in Settings. When enabled, a crash report is sent to a server operated by DabbleLabs UK (at dabblelabs.uk) and contains only: a randomly generated identifier for that single report, the app's package name and version, your Android version, your device brand and model, the time of the crash, and the technical details of the error (a stack trace). It does not contain a persistent device or installation identifier, and it does not contain your joint records, settings, or anything else you have entered into the app. Crash reports are used solely to diagnose and fix bugs, are not shared with any third party, and are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Weed Moderator does not use Google Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics, any other analytics service, or any advertising SDKs.

8. Donations

If you choose to make a voluntary donation, any payment processing is handled entirely by PayPal. DabbleLabs UK does not collect or store any payment details.

9. Children

This app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Your rights

Your in-app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by using the "Reset app to defaults" action in the Developer screen, by clearing the app's data in your Android settings, or by uninstalling the app. If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data. Because no in-app data is held by DabbleLabs UK on external servers, exercising these rights is achieved by managing data directly on your device. For questions about crash report data held by DabbleLabs UK, contact us at the address below.

11. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be published here and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
