ADHDreminder is built to keep your reminders on your own device. Most of what the app stores stays there and is never transmitted anywhere. The two exceptions are anonymous crash reports and the optional "paging" feature, both described below.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data is not transmitted to DabbleLabs UK or to any other server, except as described in sections 3 and 4 below.
ADHDreminder uses ACRA (Application Crash Reports for Android) to send a crash report to a server operated by DabbleLabs UK when the app crashes. A crash report contains only: the stack trace of the error, your device model, your Android version, and the app's version. This is used solely to find and fix bugs. Crash report data is not shared with any third party, and the app does not use any advertising or analytics SDKs. You can turn crash reports off at any time in the app's Settings.
ADHDreminder has an optional feature that lets you send and receive "pages" with another person you have paired with. This feature is off unless you choose to register for it. If you do, the app sends the following to a server operated by DabbleLabs UK:
Pages are private between users who have mutually paired with each other. DabbleLabs UK does not sell or share this data with third parties, and all of it is transmitted over HTTPS.
ADHDreminder has an optional setting, "Help improve reminder reliability", found in Settings. It is off by default and nothing described in this section is collected unless you turn it on yourself.
Its purpose is narrow: some Android phones silently delay or suppress reminders, and we cannot reproduce every phone's behaviour ourselves. If you turn this on, the app reports what happened to your reminders so we can find and fix the cases where they fail to appear.
When it is enabled, the app sends the following to a server operated by DabbleLabs UK:

Where a reminder needs to be followed through several of these events, it is identified by a scrambled code generated using a secret value that stays on your device and is never sent. This lets us see that one reminder passed through several stages without us being able to identify which reminder it was.
This data is not sold, not shared with any third party, and not used for advertising. It is transmitted over HTTPS and retained for 90 days, after which it is deleted automatically.
To turn it off and delete it: switch "Help improve reminder reliability" off in Settings. Doing so stops collection immediately, deletes anything still waiting to be sent from your device, and instructs the server to delete everything it holds for your installation. If you later switch it back on, a brand new random identifier is generated, so the old data and the new cannot be connected.
Crash reports are retained only for as long as needed to diagnose and fix the issue they relate to. Usage and reliability data, if you have enabled it, is retained for 90 days and can be deleted at any time by turning the setting off (see section 5). Paging data is removed when you unpair from another user. You can request full deletion of your paging data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

If you choose to make a voluntary donation, any payment processing is handled entirely by PayPal. DabbleLabs UK does not collect or store any payment details.
This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your reminders, timers, settings, and custom sounds are stored locally on your device. You can delete them at any time by removing them in the app, clearing the app's data in your Android settings, or uninstalling the app. If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data. For crash report data or paging data held by DabbleLabs UK, contact us at the address below.
This policy may be updated from time to time. If we make changes, the new version will be published here and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
